Okpara Nosakhere, M.Ed, (Dock)

Okpara has developed methods of differentiated instruction, which highlight cognitive areas of student life experiences. He believes that community and cultural standards play a significant role in the learning process of children.

Educational Management Associates has developed an education empowerment program for students, teachers and parents, which enable participants to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the process of learning from a more personal and rewarding experience.

EMA uses research based standards as models for effective pedagogical results, with the inclusion of health related professionals to help design methods of service to ensure optimum success. Our goal is to help schools and communities in raising not only educated citizens, but also responsible, committed leaders for the future.

Okpara has provided professional development workshops, seminars, student empowerment retreats, and educational enrichment programs for schools, community organizations and businesses across the country.

With over 25 years experience as an educator, he has served as a building principal at both elementary and secondary levels in Michigan, Virginia, Georgia and Washington D. C.

He has worked in the City of Manassas Public School's as a Director of Gifted Education and Fine Arts, Regional School Improvement Team Leader (Implementing the America's Choice Design) for the Georgia State Department of Education, and as an Executive Director for School Leadership in the Kansas City, Missouri school district.

He has extensive grant writing experience and evaluation for various major organizations such as the Jacob Javits Foundation, United States Department of Education and the Virginia Council of the Arts. He has indepth knowledge in both the implementation and evaluation of school improvement plans.

Okpara received his Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
